Labor Day Parade: Consider this your last heads-up -- so much is going on Monday along with the parade! Girl scouts will be hosting a tag sale at Newtown Middle School, and the Congregational Church will host a pancake breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m.

Book Discussion: This week's book discussion at Booth Library covers the novel "Coyote Waits." Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Antiques Room.

NIA Movement: Try a class in this gentle, relaxing technique at the Graceful Planet Moving Arts Centre in Sandy Hook Friday. Starts at 7:00 p.m.

Kids' Day of Service: Sandy Hook Peaceful Arts and Whole Foods host this event for kids to experience the arts at Edmond Town Hall Saturday. Starts at 11:00 a.m.
