Town Releases Second Sandy Hook School Q&A

In late May, the town of Newtown released a Q&A covering many of the most commonly asked questions from residents about the future of Sandy Hook Elementary School -- from the makeup of the town task force charged with analyzing options, to the reasons behind the choice they made -- to demolish the old school and rebuild in its place.

Now the town has released the second in what it says will be a series of Q&As designed to keep residents informed.

The new Q&A is shorter, but more up-to-date, covering the recent $50 million bonding package from the State of Connecticut and the latest details on a future referendum to approve the project. (Although, as the document says, there will be no local tax levy, residents will still need to approve the project.)
