Young Motocross Rider Winning Big, Honoring Sandy Hook

One Newtown boy is finding success in motocross -- that's off-road motorbike racing -- while riding a green-and-white bike in honor of Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Damian took first place at Echo Valley MX last weekend riding the bike, and has won six of his seven races this year. His proud father Christopher wanted to recognize his success, and let us know why he's riding.

"Damian won his first championship at Milford Riders Club three years ago at the age of 6," said Christopher. "He finished #2 in the championship in the MSC series in upstate New York last year. This year he is the series points leader and on his way to winning the the championship in the 6-9 60 cc class. He wants to win this championship for the families of Newtown."
