St. Rose of Lima Parish Announces Carnival Dates: Tuesday, June 25th through Saturday, June 29th

St. Rose of Lima Parish in Newtown is pleased to announce that it will host its annual Carnival on the parish grounds beginning on Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013 and running through Saturday, June 29, 2013.

As in past years, the popular area carnival will feature rides and games by Stewart Amusement, from 6pm - 10:30pm each evening, with ride bracelets available for $25 per night.  Additional features are a Kiddy Tent with face painting and crafts for the younger set and nightly entertainment.  Food will be plentiful, and includes burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, fried dough and various desserts, along with nightly specials from local area restaurants including pulled pork sandwiches, sausage & peppers, meatball and eggplant grinders and pasta bowls.

Additionally, the St. Rose Home and School Association will offer their monthly Friday Night Bingo during the carnival on Friday, June 28th.  Doors will open at 5:45pm and games begin at 6:30pm.  Admission is $17 per person, which includes all regular and some special games, and carnival food and desserts will be available for purchase through student waiters.
