Born and raised in New York City, I began my career in television production working as a segment producer for a variety of television, including Good Morning America, The Charlie Rose Show and Live With Regis and Kathie Lee.
After the birth of my first child I returned to school to pursue my interest in child development. I graduated in 1996 from Bank Street College of Education in New York City with a Masters of Science in Parent and Child Development. I taught pre-school in New York City and Connecticut before starting my business, Parenting With New Perspectives(www.parentingwithnewperspectives.com,) I offer parent coaching sessions for parents as well as breath awareness excercises for children ages six to thirteen.  My office is located in Sandy Hook, CT. I am the parent of three children ages 18, 14 and 12.
