I'm an early morning writer, an all day teacher and mom to my three fully emancipated, Newtown-educated kids. I wake long before dawn and spend my first waking hours in front of that blue screen, following the many characters that inhabit this crazy brain of mine. During the day, I have anywhere from  24 to 48 kids in tow in the classroom, listening to my stories, and allowing me into their storied lives too. I come home at night to a pretty terrific guy, who reads and comments on my work, approves/disapproves my fashion choices, and listens to my educational blather...tuning me out when he's had enough! Of note, but not major importance, I am a huge fan of the underdog: Mets/Jets all the way! Please, let it be this year!
