He is certified in a highly specific postgraduate technique called Active Release Technique, (A.R.T). Dr. “A” employs this well focused soft tissue approach to specifically address injuries of the muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints and nerves. Kinesiotaping and Rock taping techniques are also utilized to increase blood flow to the muscles, improve lymphatic drainage (waste out of the muscle) and provide more proprioception (awareness) to aid in strength and stability. Finally, soft tissue techniques such as Cupping, Guasha and myofascial release are utilized to reduce muscle spasm, increase circulation and treat painful and persistent trigger points.

Dr. "A" is highly involved in the community of Newtown. He sits on the board of Directors of the Newtown Earth Day commission and the Newtown Forest Association.

Please join Dr. “A” on one of his monthly full moon hikes or sign up for his annual 5k XC race.
