Treadwell, who served as first selectman of Newtown between…More 1968 and 1972.</p> <p>The park, which opens from 8am to 8pm, features four tennis courts, two regulation size artificial turf playing fields, a baseball/softball field, an eight-lane 25-yard pool that includes diving boards, two playgrounds, a pavilion and restroom facilities.</p> <p>Children younger than 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or older.</p>
