The Little Red School House is an historical monument for residents throughout the Fairfield County area. This establishment was originally built as a one-room school house and is located on the grounds of Middle Gate Elementary School. It is used for historical re-enactments by Newtown students and is open during a variety of events hosted by the Newtown Historical Society.
