Newtown United Methodist Church and Wesley Learning Center

<p>The Newtown United Methodist Church has operated in the community for nearly 200 years. It is part of the Connecticut Central District of the United Methodist Church.</p> <p>The Newtown church offers Sunday worship service and adult Bible study.</p> <p>Adjacent to the church and sharing the same parking lot is the Wesley Learning Center, which offers a non-sectarian curriculum program for 3- and 4-year-old children as well as pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs for 4- and 5-year-olds. Some extended day programs also are available.</p>
