As I write this I'm eating the most exceptional pizza (by far) in Newtown. Friendly service, great food and I'm definitely coming back!

A terrific place. Great food, fantastic beer selection, and friendly, excellent service. In addition, My Place is ALWAYS donating product, money, or both to a wide swath of charitable organizations in Newtown. I would be willing to bet they do more for this town than any other business in town.
We all need to support them, and happily it is a pleasure to do so.
Best pizza in town, but that's not the real reason for coming here.
This is a beer lovers nirvana! Mark's Taproom is Newtown's diamond in the rough. Mark is an expert who brings in some of the finest and exotic brews from local brewers and from around the world. While he does stock a very good selection of bottles, the real value here is what he brings on draught, including cask conditioned ales! The selection is in constant rotation, so that there is always something exciting to come back for.
Mark also brings in local brewers and distributors for monthly beer tastings. If you're interested in the art of brewing, this is where you can get an education.
If you are not one of their 'friends' you get treated like a non-person by management. servers are good. Food OK
