Drug Center Pharmacy
Established more than 50 years ago, the Drug Center Pharmacy moved to its current building next to Newtown Hardware in 2005. In addition to prescriptions, the pharmacy offers free personal consultations, blood pressure tests and discounts to seniors on prescriptions. The store has a Medela section with breast pumps for sale or rent. Other shelves are full with household goods, paperback books, greeting cards, Newtown souvenirs and apparel, and beauty and health products. The friendly staff are eager to help, and the pharmacy even delivers to Newtown, Sandy Hook and Southbury.
