Dickinson Memorial Park

<p>The park, opened in 1955, is named after former Newtown first selectman, A. Finn Dickinson. The park has a softball field, two playgrounds, a pavillion complete with grills and picnic area and other amenities.</p>
<p>The town's Parks and Recreation Department runs many camps and programs at the park. Reservations for the pavillion, including payment of fees, must be made at the parks and recreation office, or online.</p>
