A locally owned cafe overlooking the Pootatuck River in Sandy Hook. The shop serves a variety of drinks and features coffee beans that comes from a local roaster. Gelato, bagels, muffins, pastries and other items are sold.

This site was formerly the home of Mocha, a popular coffeehouse that  folded earlier this year. New owners have re-opened under the name Demitasse.

The shop is located in a building, which dates to 19th century and once served as a blacksmith shop. It also features an outdoor deck.

Honestly, this place makes really excellent coffee. I don't know how they make it taste so good. Great cappuccino. The owners are real foodies and they source only the best items from all over the tri-state area. The ham and cheese croissants are amazing, as are the chocolate croissants. Of course, the view over the river is wonderful too. Two thumbs up!
