Community Update

My wife and I recently had an opportunity to work with Bob & JoAnn Maurer, their 35+ years of Real Estate experience was clear from the start.
The 3rd agent(s) out to our home, the Maurer Team's market analysis concentrated on a marketing campaign that was clearly aggressive from the get go but they also focused on our home's positive attributes. The Maurer's marketing campaign did not concentrate simply on all of ads they planned on running (every agent offered the same ads/sites/etc.), they specifically pinpointed and highlighted our home's positive aspects, everything our home had to offer in great detail.
Most importantly and the reason behind our review today is the fact that the Maurer Team provided us with their honest opinion on pricing, it is this fact that truly-truly captured our interest. Bob & JoAnn's price opinion was the lowest of the 3 agents but they were very straightforward with us and yes, we were disappointed to hear their figure (every homeowner is) but we were so very pleased to be provided an honest opinion. We knew that we could have listed the home for $20K-$25K over their recommended list price and they made it clear that they would happily accept our figure and they would have to step up their marketing campaign but time was of the essence for my wife and I, our main goal was an expeditious sale.
An agent(s) should be chosen for all aspects of their professionalism (marketing, experience, etc.) and not for the dollar figured provided at the time of the market analysis, in the end it is the homeowner that should provide the figure for which we list our home. The agent must take our desired sale price and do everything within their power to sell our home, based upon OUR FIGURE. That is exactly what we received from Bob & JoAnn Maurer, an honest opinion and we were successful due to their honest price point.
Due to their honesty, aggressive marketing and professional mannerism, our experience was amazing. Mr. Raveis himself should provide the Maurer Team a standing ovation for the impressive representation of William Raveis Real Estate.
