Newtown Democrats Happy Hour: Newtown Democrats are coming together Tuesday for a night of good food and friends. Hosted by the Newtown DTC. Starts 7:00 p.m. at McGuire's Ale House.
Rise & Shine Yoga: Get up early and come out to Porco's Karate Studio to learn yoga technigues for beginners and intermediates. Starts 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sandy Hook.
Wine Tasting at Foundry Kitchen and Tavern: Try a flight of eight different varietals at the Sandy Hook food and drink hot spot. Starts 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Martini Madness: Head to Edmond Town Hall to find out who has the best cocktail in Newtown, in the first ever "Martini Madness" competition hosted by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce. Try cocktails from Sal Y Pepe, Fusion 25, Toro, Foundry Kitchen and Tavern, the Inn at Newtown and more. Tickets are $20, $10 for designated drivers. Starts Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
R. Hero Dedication Ceremony: The EverWonder Experience dedicates the "R. Hero" dalmatian puppy sculpture, and the hands-on exhibits for kids continue. Starts 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
