Lion's Club Blood Drive: Monday is the day to give blood at Newtown's Congregational Church! Each Donor will receive a pound of Dunkin Donuts Coffee as a thank-you. Starts 8:30 a.m.

Legendary Locals Lecture: Newtown historian Dan Cruson will present stories of several of some of Newtown’s founding fathers at a lecture 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Newtown Meeting House (moved from C.H. Booth Library due to the library's closure.)

Solarize Newtown: Bring your solar proposal and questions to Cara from Astrum Solar at the Solarize Newtown office hours at Panera Bread for a one-on-one consultation about your home. Starts 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Panera Bread.

Holistic Wellness Day: Spa Naturelle hosts this holistic wellness event with massage therapist Ginny Lewicki. Starts 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Gospel Choir Performs at Synagogue in Honor of Martin Luther King: Congregation Adath Israelwill host a renowned Hartford gospel choir in the synagogue sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. Friday January 17th. Voices LLC of Hartford CT will perform at 115 Huntingtown Road, Newtown, to honor the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Concert is free, and the entire community is invited.
