This Week in Newtown: Halloween Festivities, Southern Food

It's a Halloween kind of week in Newtown, but there's plenty more to do to celebrate the height of autumn. Take a look:

Zombie Wine Dinner: Eat, drink and be scared! Starts 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Inn at Newtown. $65 per person.

EverWonder Halloween Party: Great fun for kids at the fledgling children's center. Starts 9:30 a.m.

Waldorf Fall Fair: Check out the kickoff of the craft market at Newtown's Housatonic Waldorf school. Starts 6:00 p.m. Friday.

Southern Shrimp Boil: Newtown Congregational Church hosts this celebration of delicious Southern and Cajun food from Back Bay, MI. Starts 6:30 p.m. Saturday. See link for prices.

Newtown Youth Voices: The children's chorus will perform at Stanford's First United Methodist Church at 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
