Newtown's Carousel of Love
Hi, I just heard about a project called Newtown Connecticut Carousel. Please like & support their page. I was so inspired by them that I wrote the following quick poem:
Love grows, if tended,
Our arms are extended,
Hearts must be mended,
On our Carousel of Love.
Ride with me awhile,
Maybe you'll learn to smile,
26 horses, each with style,
On our Carousel of Love.
Made to dry your tears,
The memories will last for years,
You can calm all fears,
On our Carousel of Love.
We send our love to you,
Wish you luck in all you do,
Newtown's soul will renew,
On our Carousel of Love.
26 Angels will forever ride,
In our hearts and by our side,
We will look up with pride,
On our Carousel of Love....
