33 Zoar Road

Sandy Hook, CT 06482

The Winning Baby gets their photo published in the Newtown Bee, The Newtown Patch, and the Danbury NewsTimes, rides in a brand-new chauffeur-driven convertible from Mercedes of Danbury in the Newtown Labor Day Parade as the “Beautiful Baby Winner”, and will receive a Family Prize Basket with gifts the whole family will enjoy!

About the Contest:

This is NOT a live pageant.  A Wooden Voting Booth with babies’ photos, with a piggy bank slit above each picture, will be in the Sandy Hook Firehouse Lobsterfest on June 8th & 9th, and then in Stop & Shop, Sand Hill Plaza, Newtown for 2 weeks.  You will be notified when the booth is in Stop & Shop, in case you forget.

This is a charitable fundraiser for wounded soldiers.  100% of all money collected goes to Homes For Our Troops – a non-profit that builds free customhouses for our most severely wounded Military personnel. http://www.homesforourtroops.org/site/PageServer

The child whose photo raises the most amount of money for charity wins. Get creative- encourage family, neighbors, friends, and most of all proud grandparents, to vote.  Votes cost $1 a piece (a $20 bill = 20 votes or checks made payable to “Homes For Our Troops” are also accepted at voting booth).  Change your profile picute on Facebook to that of your child's entry photo and explain why it's there.  Have a jar with your child’s picture on your desk at work and explain to your boss and coworkers that all the money collected goes toward handicap houses for the most severely disabled soldiers.   Send emails with your baby’s photo attached to those in your address book and ask them to please vote for your child.  Have out-of-town relatives mail you checks made payable to “Homes For Our Troops” and put them in your child’s piggy bank slit at the voting booth.  Every dollar you raise counts as a vote for your child. Riding down Main St in a deluxe chauffeur-driven Mercedes convertible is a thrill I promise you will never forget!

Good luck and have fun with the contest!   Please let others with small children know about entering their child.  The more the merrier and money is going to a very wonderful cause.

Please call me or email if there are any further questions.
