Mobil 1 Express Drillers 13, McGuire’s Ale House Brewers, 11
The Mobil 1 Express Drillers defeated McGuire's Ale House Brewers 13-11 in a back and forth contest to win the Spring AA (9 year old) division championship on Sunday morning at Sandy Hook School. The Drillers won behind strong pitching performances by Cole Morelli, CJ Giacin and Patrick Boyle. The Mobil 1 team was led offensively by the timely hitting of Stephen Dooley, Reagin Gallagher, Luke O'Connor, Robbie Hetzer and Marina Altimari. The Brewers were led by Shaine Luzietti who went 4 for 4 with 3 singles and a double. Josh Taylor and Aidan Finnegan each added 2 hits apiece. The Brewers pitchers were Tristan Andrew, Shaine Luzietti and Brett Melchionno.
