Snow Expected But Not Much

Enjoy today because tomorrow is looking miserable.

Greetings from Avery at the Sandy Hook School weather station.

The temperature under overcast skies as of 9:10 a.m. is 40 degrees.
Humidity is 75 percent and the pressure is 29.34 and falling.

And from the Newtown Patch weather center in Sandy Hook as of 6:45 a.m. Temperature is 37 degrees under overcast skies. Humidity is 79 percent and a falling barometer at 29.99. Winds from the south are picking up at 5-10 mph.

Recent forecasts indicate one's location in the state is very important in terms of the type of precipitation we can expect. For residents of Newtown it would appear we're going to get off relatively easy with perhaps an inch or two of slushy snow before changing to all rain and then clearing out for the weekend.

That's it for today.  Have a great weekend.
