NHS Varsity Winter Guard Fundraisers
The group is looking to fund part of its trip to the International Championship in Ohio.

The Varsity Winter Guard wants to invite the public to a series of fundraisers to help defray costs of the Guard attending the Winter Guard International Championships in April. This event is being held in Dayton, Ohio, and the costs for each guard member is $600.
Fundraising kicks off on Saturday, January 14 with a refundable bottle and can drive. Newtowners can participate in the NHS Varsity Winter Guard "Turn Nickels into Gold" event by dropping off cans and bottles at NHS from 8am - 10:30am in the parking lot by the portables. Additional dates include Saturday, February 11 and Saturday, March 10.
A Pasta Dinner Fundraiser will be held on Friday, January 20 at the from 5:30pm - 8pm. The pasta dinner includes bread, beverage and desserts. There will also be a silent auction. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Children under 3 eat free.
