Newtown Schools on Early Dismissal Today
The district just made the decision as snow and sleet head our way.
Newtown public school are getting out early today.
The district just announced the decision on its website, stating the following:
"Due to weather for Monday, January 28th all Newtown Public Schools will have an early dismissal and NO PM Kindergarten. All after school activities have been cancelled."

The snow, about an inch, is expected to start early this afternoon before turning over to sleet and rain into the evening.
