On June 6th Marty Schertzer the Worshipful Master of Hiram #18 Masonic Lodge of Berkshire Road Sandy Hook, CT will present a $500.00 scholarship to a winning 2012 Newtown High School Senior. Hiram Lodge #18 of Sandy Hook has earmarked $500.00 for 2012. Hiram Lodge #18 Masonic Lodge is the organization which runs CHIPS (childhood identification) programs at the CH Booth Library, Thanksgiving donations for worthy families, provides support to Masonicare of Newtown’s residents throughout the year and helps support worthy causes through the Grand Lodge of the State of Connecticut. Hiram #18 Masonic Lodge is a proud contributor serving Newtown since it was first chartered on January 14, 1791.
