Romeo’s Tip of the Week:Take a moment away from all the hustle and bustle of the season to share time with family and friends.

Hello to everyone!
What a very busy week this has been for me and my family! Everyone has been finishing up all of their Christmas preparations.
We picked a tag from the “Angels of Assisi” tree and went right to work filling up a bag with gifts for Candi. I should explain that Candi is a beautiful yellow lab and she is being trained to become a service dog. Once she has completed her intensive training, she will become an invaluable part of someone’s life. Candi is also part of a program that allows prisoners to participate in the training of service dogs. This is a wonderful program that helps so many. It gives a dog a purpose in life, it offers a new purpose in life for the prisoner, and it allows a person with special needs to lead a more independent life. This is just one of the many ways that humans and canines can live and work together in this world.
Please remember all your four-legged pals out there who do so much
for humans every day. I hope they all find lots of healthy goodies in
their stockings this year!

I’d also like to take a moment to remember the victims of the Connecticut
shootings and their families. I hope all the animals in the lives of these
heartbroken families are giving them comfort and love.
My tip this week: take a moment away from all the hustle and
bustle of the season to share time with family and friends.
