The Charles River Public Internet Center (CRPIC) runs a free tax center to help low and moderate income families file federal and state taxes. As part of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, all preparers are IRS-certified to ensure your taxes are done right and you are getting your maximum return. The program, partially funded by United Way, makes sure filers take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child and Dependent Care credits, Education and Retirement credits. Hours are 10am-5pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 4pm to 8 pm on Mondays at 154 Moody Street in Waltham. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome!
