Two Arrested for Trespassing, Marijuana In Fairfield Hills Building

Police arrested a Massachusetts man and a Connecticut woman Sunday at Fairfield Hills' Sheldon House.

Police arrested a man and woman, and served an infraction to a second woman, with a combination of criminal trespassing and marijuana-related charges after an incident at Fairfield Hills' Shelton House Sunday, according to reports.

Police were called to Shelton House at about 2:50 p.m. for reports of people inside the building. Upon arrival, they allegedly found and arrested a man and woman — Jason Baker, 33, of Malden, MA and Rhana Adavelli-Gaudio, 28, of Plainville, CT. Police say Baker and Adavelli-Gaudio entered Shelton House through an unsecured window.

Police charged Adavelli-Gaudio with third-degree criminal trespassing and possession of marijuana. She was released on a $1,000 bond. Baker was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and released on $2,000.

In addition, police issued an infraction to another woman on scene — Karen Jerzyk, 33, of Manchester, N.H., for what they say was possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Arrest reports are based on information provided by the Newtown Police Department and are not indications of guilt.
