Might have been nice to know that a possibly sick raccoon was spotted in the neighborhood sooner than 3 weeks later. Guess it is either dead, got well or moved on by now. Even if animals are current on rabies shot the saliva from a sick raccoon could be on a family pet and then transferred to a family member unknowingly. With Newtown Patch being widely read it seems like it would have been an easy thing to post.
