Police: Someone Threw Traffic Cones in Resident's Pool

Police are investigating a trespassing charge in the early hours of last weekend.

Someone got their hands on some Town of Newtown construction equipment, snuck onto a Charter Ridge Road resident's property and dumped it there, according to Newtown Police -- including leaving a traffic cone floating in the resident's pool.

Additionally, police say, two traffic cones and a maintenance sign were left in front of the house.

Police say the crime -- which they're investigating as a trespassing case -- took place between 1:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, July 21. Police ask residents with any information to call Officer John McCluskey at (203) 426-5841.
