Police Looking for Info on Hit and Run

A vehicle reportedly struck a car in the parking lot of Olympia Sports. Also, a Chevy key was found and turned in to police ... maybe it's yours.

Newtown police are looking to the public to help identify a vehicle that reportedly struck a gray Nissan Altima in the parking lot of Olympia Sports on Nov. 17 and fled the scene.

The accident took place at 11:45 a.m. at 228 South Main St., police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Newtown police at 203-426-5841 and reference case No. 2012-28476.

Chevy Key Found

A Chevrolet key was found in the soccer field on the corner of Pecks Lane and Turkey Hill Road at 4:52 p.m. on Nov. 15. The key is described as follows: silver with a black handle, engraved with a Chevrolet symbol, and attached to a green ID tag.
