According to reports from the Newtown Police Department, police responded to Newtown High School Monday after receiving a narcotics complaint, arresting an unidentified minor for possession of less than one half-ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police say the minor was issued a court date of April 1 and released to their guardian.
No other details were available at present. As a rule, names or identifying information are not divulged for minors charged with crimes. Arrests are not an indication of guilt or conviction for a crime.
