Police Investigate Spate of Graffiti Vandalism

Police say cars and driveways on Hawthorne Hill and Sawmill Ridge Road have been hit.

According to Newtown police, someone has been busy with spray paint over the past two weeks, tagging cars and driveways alike.

Police are investigating what they describe as "spray paint damage to multiple vehicles and driveways" on Hawthorne Hill and Sawmill Ridge Road during a two-week period. In particular, police say, two vehicles near the cul de sac of Hawthorne Hill Road were hit with black spray paint during the night of Friday, August 23 or the following morning.

Police are investigating the case as vandalism. Anyone with information should contact Officer Smith at (203) 426-5841.
