On June 23, an employee of discovered that a safe had been stolen.
The theft occurred on June 23, 2012 at approximately 6:15 a.m at 19 Main St., Newtown. It is believed the suspects exited the business through a side kitchen door. The safe contained cash, keys, and paperwork. The total loss was estimated at $2,000.
