Car Accidents

On June 30, a hit and run accident occurred on New Lebbon Rd. when a car turned left out of a driveway at 29 New Lebbon Rd. to travel southbound.  A small, dark-colored sedan with CT plates, driving northbound, hit the driver’s side of the turning car, and kept going.  The sedan sustained damage to the left front end corner on the driver’s side, and is missing it’s front headlight from the crash.  The driver of that car is believed to have been a young white male.

At about 4:20 pm on June 22, a car ended it's trek across the yard at 21 Queen St. when it struck a car in the driveway. It all began when car #1 tried to make a left turn on Queen St and the front passenger side of car #2, traveling south on Queen St, hit the front of car #1.  Upon impact, car #2 turned left into the yard at 21 Queen St and continued until it hit the passenger side of car #3, which was parked in the driveway of the home. The driver of car #2 was treated at Danbury Hospital for cuts and swelling of the face.  Car #1 was given a ticket for failure to grant right-of-way at a stop sign.
