Police: 76-Year-Old Man Turned Himself In for 2012 Pursuit

Newtown police say a 76-year-old Wolcott man turned himself in last week in connection to charges of engaging in a pursuit, reckless driving, traveling unreasonably fast and passing in a no-passing zone.

James Brown, of Wolcott, turned himself in at the Newtown Police Station at about 11 a.m. Thursday morning on an outstanding warrant originating from the September 2012 investigation, police said. He was released on $10,000 bond and given a court date of May 30.
