On 08/02/12 at about 7:00 pm an elderly woman purchased a number of items from Walgreens located at 47 S Main St, Newtown, CT. The unknown woman exited the store and entered her white early model Subaru Legacy four door sedan. The woman backed up and then pulled forward striking the rear of another parked vehicle. The woman then left the area last seen heading south on S Main St.
The elderly woman may not have realized that she struck the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Newtown Police Department at 203-426-5841.
