The theft of a GPS unit from a vehicle parked in the area of Dinglebrook Lane has Newtown Police encouraging residents to lock their cars.
Police said the unit, of an unknown value, was reportedly taken from the glove box of a vehicle in the area of Dinglebrook Lane sometime between March 22 and April 8. The car was unlocked, police said.
