Newtown Man Hit With Larceny Charges

Other recent arrests include assault, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.


Christopher H. Lewis, 27, of Church Hill Road in Newtown, was arrested at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 on charges of third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny.

Lewis turned himself in at on active warrants for his arrest, police said, stemming from incidents on April 19 and May 17 of this year. He was held on $15,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned at Danbury Superior Court on Aug. 20.

Jason Eric Geslien, 37, of Heritage Village in Southbury, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the Southbury Police Department on charges of violation of a protective order, first-degree criminal trespass and interfering with an officer.

During processing, Geslien reportedly became combative with officers. He was held on a $25,000 bond and was due in court on Aug. 10.

Woman Charged with Assault

Diane M. Tenk, 58, of Pond Brook Road in Newtown, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 13 on charges of third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.

Police said the arrest stems from a reported domestic dispute at her residence. Tenk was released on a written promise to appear in court on Aug. 14.

Possession of Paraphernalia

Cortney F. Troccolla, 25, of Alpine Drive in Sandy Hook, turned herself in at police headquarters at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 12 on an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

She was charged with possession of paraphernalia and released on a $1,000 surety bond. Troccolla is due in court on Aug. 23.

Couple Charged Following Dispute

Victoria L. Michaels, 23, of Southbury, and her boyfriend, David Gianini, 24, of Waterbury, were each arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct in relation to a dispute that allegedly took place in the area of Buttonball Drive and Maple Drive at 10:21 p.m. on Aug. 17.

Both were released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 20.

Juvenile Charged with Disorderly Conduct

A 17-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct in relation to a dispute that allegedly occurred at a Riverside Road residence at 8:22 p.m. on Aug. 16.
