Roy H. Scheunemann, 24, of Clearview Drive in Sandy Hook, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 on charges of evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane.
He turned himself in at after learning there was a warrant for his arrest, according to police. Information about the incident was not immediately available.
Scheunemann was released after posting a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 5.
