Landlord-Tenant Dispute Ends With Arrest

And in other police news, a stop sign violation leads to an additional charge.

 

A Newtown woman was arrested at 4:48 p.m. on Sept. 21 on a charge of disorderly conduct in relation to what police said was a dispute between a landlord and tenant.

Police said the charges were filed aginst Maria Killeen, 45, of 23 Bonnie Brae Drive, after an investigation. She is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Oct. 4.

Driving With A Suspended License

According to police, Christopher M. Hernandez, 22, of Naugatuck, was observed running a stop sign while traveling north on Currituck Road at 9:05 a.m. on Sept. 22. Hernandez was pulled over and it was determined his driver’s license was suspended, police said.

He was brought to headquarters, where he was charged with operating with a suspended license and failure to obey a stop sign. Hernandez was released on a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5.
