DWI, Disorderly Conduct and Marijuana Charge
Some of the most recent arrests made by the Newtown Police Department.
A juvenile was arrested at 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 23 on a charge of possession of marijuana.
According to police, officers were dispatched to a residence in Newtown on report of a juvenile in possession of marijuana and the arrest was made after an investigation. The youthful offender is due in court on Dec. 3.
Sandy Hook Man Charged with DWI

Thomas N. Owens, 43, of Unit 11 at 138 Underhill Road in Sandy Hook, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. on Nov. 23 on charges of DWI, operating with a suspended registration, operating without insurance and failure to signal.
Police said the arrest was made following a motor vehicle stop on Cherry Street. Owens posted a $100 bond and is due in court on Dec. 11.

Disordery Conduct Charge
Neil J. Unger, 56, of 46 Shepards Hill Road, was arrested at 3:42 p.m. on Nov. 22 on a charge of disorderly conduct.
The arrest was made after police responded to the address on report of a domestic disturbance in progress, according to the report. Unger is due in court on Nov. 26.
