Arrest Made in Newtown Burglaries

Police say the man is responsible for three burglaries in early October.


Eammon M. Donnelly, 30, of Castle Meadow Road in Newtown, turned himself in at police headquarters on Nov. 13 and was arrested in relation to three alleged burglaries in town in early October.

He was charged with three counts each of third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit burglary.

  • Potts Hill, on Oct. 5, 2012
  • Chimney Swift, on Oct. 1, 2012
  • Valley Field Road North, on Oct. 1, 2012

Donnelly was held on bond and was scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court the same day of his arrest.
