Newtown's Pet of the Week: "Juno" You Should Take Her Home!

Meet Juno, our furry friend of the week. Each Friday we introduce you to a shelter pet who is in need of a forever home.

Meet Juno, an adorable 2-year-old female mixed breed. This sweet pooch weighs about 45 pounds and is a bundle of love. She is short-haired Pit Bull Terrier and Dalmatian Mix and has mostly white fur with dark patches on her face around both eyes.

Juno was found roaming around as a stray and was brought to the shelter for care and adoption. Juno needs a bit of leash training and would be great with an owner willing to invest some time in teaching her. In return she will give you unconditional love and be your best friend for life.

Juno is full of energy and would make a great running partner. She would be a good fit for a family without small children. She is spayed and current on her shots.

"Juno" you want to take her home so go visit her at the Brian J. Silverlieb Animal Care and Control Center, Old Farm Road, Newtown, CT. You can visit Monday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Call Canine Advocates at (203) 426-6900 for more information.
