I try to start every Asian meal healthy, with miso soup and salad with ginger dressing. (See at in Southbury).
Then, I'll do my best to continue on the healthy track, which I did last night in Newtown - at a very nice restaurant - where the waitstaff and host were extremely polite.
This dish is hard to figure out. The simple mesclun greens nearly hide the rest of the layers, so I will give you a hint. There are cucumbers at the bottom, sliced thin like matchsticks. On top of them are sliced mangoes. Then, you'll find spicy seared cajun white tuna.
Can you guess which restaurant served up this tasty meal?
