Petition

I am thinking of setting up an online petition to stop the the rebuilding of the Sandy Hook School on existing site.  Reasons:
1. School roadmap is not defined.  Enrollment is down and there is talk of closing 5/6 school.
2. The name Sandy Hook school will always be associated with tragedy.  It needs to be retired.
3. Building on existing site next to a memorial will be a distraction for the school and future families moving to Newtown.  We need to think about the future of this town and property values.
