“Not For Profit”

Good afternoon neighbors,

 I live in Newtown but work outside of town.  Today a co-worker asked me about the impact and changes in town since the horrible massacre last year.  I was trying to describe the media chaos in the weeks following and how the Media would frequently come back to town when some attention grabbing group wanted the spotlight to further their addenda.  I tried to highlight how these groups popped up overnight as “helping the community” but have turned into more than that.  How many of these new “groups” do we have “representing” the town.  I know there is the Sandy Hook Promise (SHP), Newtown Action Alliance (NAA), Newtown Foundation, have I missed some?  I noticed a sticker on a car at the BigY that said something about growth or something like that.  How many are we up to?
