An Open Letter from Board of Ed Chairs on the 2013-14 Budget

Dear Newtown Voters,

Please come out and join us in voting “YES” for the 2013-2014 Board of Education budget on April 23rd.

It is important to recognize that this budget will allow the Board of Education to address current needs, such as replacing obsolete technology.  It also allows for the implementation of initiatives such as full-day kindergarten.  As we continue through our recovery process, it is also important to note that there is money to address security needs at our schools within the budget. It is a budget that is needed at this time.

Voting will take place between the hours of 6am and 8pm at the Newtown Middle School on Tuesday, April 23rd. Please come out and support our schools and vote “YES”.
