In Memoriam: Sandra Gill, 54
Gill was a longtime Sandy Hook resident and Southbury postal worker.
Sandra Gill, 54 a long time Sandy Hook resident, passed away at her home on Wed. August 7 after a brief illness.
Born in Bridgeport, Sept. 5, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Ernest Bellavita, and Patricia Davis Bellavita of Florida.
Mrs. Gill was a longtime postal worker in the Southbury Branch of the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband John T. Gill Jr. and three sons, John T. Gill III, Sgt. Dustin T. Gill of the U.S. Marine Corps, and Sean T. Gill, all of Sandy Hook. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Ann Davis and her brother Robert Bellavita both of Florida.
In addition to her father she was predeceased by her brother Ernie Bellavita, her twin sister Victoria Bellavita who were all from Southbury.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St. Newtown, CT on Monday August 12 at 11AM. Interment will follow at the Newtown Village Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home Sunday, August 11 from 4-7 PM.
