Madeline Jaffoni Mahoney, 95, passed away on October 30, 2013 at Masonicare of Newtown. She was the daughter of the late Theresa and Nicholas Jaffoni of New York City. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Walter Mahoney of New York City, her sister Angela McGowan of Macungie, PA and her brothers Ralph Jaffoni of Minneapolis, MN and Joseph Jaffoni of Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Madeline was born in New York City, NY on December 8, 1917. She married the late Eugene Walter Mahoney in 1943 and lived in New York until she relocated to Macungie, PA. Madeline was a credit manager for a decorating firm in Manhattan and was an active member of the Fairways community in Macungie. Madeline’s life was her family and friends. She was an avid reader, loved to shop and enjoyed traveling.
Madeline is survived by two children: Gail and her husband Richard Warek of Sandy Hook, CT and Kevin Mahoney and his wife Kathryn of Haymarket, VA. She had three grandchildren: Monica Warek, Brian and Daniel Mahoney and one great granddaughter, Ryen Mahoney.

Family and friends may greet the family on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT. Mass will be offered at St. Rose of Lima church in Newtown, CT at 10:00 AM on November 4, 2013. Interment will follow at the Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
